Ukraine Calls for Tourist Trips to Be Postponed While the Conflict Continues

For travelers departing from the United States, the current official advisory is not to travel to Ukraine for any reason. Other governments distinguish between areas with different warning levels, but they continue to issue highly restrictive recommendations and emphasize that conditions can change quickly. The issue is not choosing a seemingly quieter city or replacing Kyiv with a western region: missile and drone attacks, air-raid alerts and infrastructure disruptions undermine the predictability required for a leisure trip.
