Loango National Park

Loango National Park combines lagoon, waterways, wetlands, forest, savanna and Atlantic coast in southwestern Gabon. Visiting requires coordinated transfers, guided outings and flexibility as rain, tides, navigation and wildlife conditions change.

What makes it special

Iguéla Lagoon, forest, savanna and beach form a mosaic explored by boat, vehicle and guided walks.
The Petit Loango area is an important wetland for aquatic wildlife and marine turtles.
Whale trips are indicated from mid-July to mid-September and turtle patrols from October to February, subject to confirmation.
