Larochette

Larochette is one of the suggested access points for the Mullerthal Trail. Route 3, rated difficult and also proposed as a two-stage walk, links wooded valleys with Beaufort and Larochette, where hikers can pause in the town and by its castle.

Choosing a Walking Route on Luxembourg’s Mullerthal Trail

The Mullerthal Trail is not a 112-kilometre route you need to “complete”. Its three loops suit different ways of walking: valleys and meadows, rocky gorges, or forests and castles. Choosing one—and recognising its limits—makes for a clearer, safer and more respectful experience than chasing every landmark in a single day.
