La Saline royale d’Arc-et-Senans est un ensemble semicirculaire de salines. Son architecture, conçue par Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, reflète l’organisation de la production et un projet industriel des Lumières.

La disposition semicirculaire organisait la production, la surveillance et les hiérarchies.
Pensée comme une manufacture modèle et le centre d’une ville idéale restée inachevée.
